Samantha has a strong track record of success in developing and enhancing cybersecurity and risk management strategies for various organizations. She focuses on Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions such as security risk assessments, IT policy and procedure writing, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, IT auditing, and vendor risk management. 

Samantha’s expertise is backed by a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management, further exemplifying her dedication to continuous learning and professional development. Prior to obtaining her graduate degree, Samantha received her Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Cybersecurity from the University of Tampa. Samantha holds her Security+ certification along with multiple cloud certifications, and is currently pursuing her CISSP certification. 

Samantha also serves as an active member of the technology community. She is the esteemed Founder & CEO of Tampa Bay Techies, a distinguished 501(c)(3) organization committed to bridging the opportunity gap within the Tampa Bay technology industry. Driven by her unwavering dedication to fostering inclusivity and diversity in tech, Samantha leads the charge in providing aspiring individuals with equal access to opportunities, empowering them to thrive in this dynamic field. In addition to Tampa Bay Techies, Samantha holds leadership positions on the Leadership Team of the Women in Technology International (WITI) Cybersecurity Network and as a Mentor for the Tech Pro Mentorship program at Computer Coach IT Training Center.
